Self Tuning Guitar from Gibson

Have you ever thought how cool it would be if you could have a guitar which automatically tuned itself? Just released is the world's first self-tuning guitar; a Gibson Les Paul electric guitar with robotic technology. Now you will not have to tune your guitar every time you play it because the Gibson Robot Guitar will tune itself; just plug it in, dial in the tuning you want, strum the strings and the guitar is tuned.

A self-tuning system is built into a Gibson Les Paul guitar without changing its looks and while retaining all the sound and playability that have made the LP one of the most successful electric guitars of all time. To tune itself, the Robot Guitar uses an on-board central processing unit (CPU) that analyzes the pitch of each string as detected by a Tune-Control bridge. Tuning information from the CPU is relayed to the motorized tuning machines that efficiently adjust each string to the correct pitch with a distinctive whirring sound that lets you know Robot Guitar is on the job. You activate the Robot Guitar with the Master Control Knob (MCK) that functions as a tone control in the down position and is pulled up to activate the tuning system. In addition to standard (A-440Hz) tuning, six commonly used tunings are selectable from the MCK. Users can also program their own custom tunings as well as set the guitar s intonation.

Now, with the Gibson Robot Guitar, you will spend more time playing in tune. In live performance you can easily change tunings practically soundlessly on the fly keeping your show flowing smoothly. There is no longer any need to haul several instruments to the gig to cover various tunings; The Robot does it all for you!

Each limited edition, first-run Gibson Robot Guitar features a dramatic Blue Silverburst nitrocellulose finish, created especially for this limited run. It will never be used on any other Gibson guitar.

Also featured is a certificate of authenticity, a power adapter for the system's rechargeable lithium battery and a limited edition First-Run case with a silver Tolex exterior and a matching plush silver interior. Each Robot Guitar's serial number will also be sequentially exact, beginning with "RG0001" and continuing through the end of this strictly limited run.

The Gibson Robot Electric Guitar Blue Silverburst is bound to become a highly collectible instrument. Learn more and buy this self tuning guitar right here.
